I take my inspiration this week from a fun episode of Gretchen Rubin's podcast, Happier. In the podcast (and in her books), Gretchen looks at 7 essential parts of life where, if we focus on making improvements, we can find greater happiness in our life and work.

In her recent show, Gretchen Rubin went through the 7 essentials and shared what improvements she might make in each of these areas. In this episode, I do the same, in the hopes of inspiring you to examine where in your life you can make some small changes and improvements to find greater happiness.

Here are the 7!

1. Eat and drink more healthfully.
2. Exercise regularly.
3. Save, spend, and earn wisely.
4. Rest, relax, and enjoy.
5. Stop procrastinating, make consistent progress.
6. Simplify, clear, and organize.
7. Engage more deeply—with other people, with God, with yourself, with the world.

Let me know what you are inspired to work on!
