This week I share about how we can find peace in the midst of chaos. We all experience chaos. What kind of "chaos" is in your life right now? Busy schedules? Lots of work? Difficult relationships? Financial challenges? Health issues?

I share a bit about how my prayer life has changed over the years and some ways in which I try to "LET GO" of control in my life, as hard as that sometimes is. What kinds of things help you trust in God? How do you find peace, even when all around you seems out of control?

INTERVIEW
This week I share a great conversation I had with Rose Sweet, a speaker, author, and religious advisor. She shares about the joys and challenges of being a faithful woman in the modern world and about some of the ways in which she ministers to the divorced and re-married inside of the Church.

As always, I am so grateful for your presence here. God bless your week!

This week I am sharing a bit about my early start as a writer and then I read an excerpt from my VERY FIRST book, My Cup of Tea: Musings of a Catholic Mom. I invite you to share about what is “your cup of tea.” What kinds of sacrifices do you find challenging as a wife or mom, and how to do you put them into perspective?

INTERVIEW
This week I share a great and funny conversation I had with Anna Mitchell from the Son Rise Morning Show. Usually, Anna is the one interviewing ME on Tuesday mornings on her show, but this time we turned the microphones around and she shared some of her personal and professional triumphs and goals. Very fun and inspiring too!

This week we are talking about ways to find forgiveness and let go of grudges that ultimately only hurt ourselves. How can we understand people who hurt us? What can help us to forgive when we are filled with anger and resentment?

One thought I share is a reminder I often need to give myself when angry over someone who has hurt me or someone I love:

The temptation is to allow bad people to make you a bad person too. But the way of lasting peace and satisfaction will always be to do the harder thing -- to hold on and to defend the goodness of your own heart with ferocity.

I also encourage use of the sacrament of Confession for those who are suffering old wounds and having trouble fining forgiveness for others in their hearts.

INTERVIEW
This week I share an inspiring conversation I had with Brooke Taylor, host of the Good Things Radio podcast and blogger at The Sacred Sink

This holiday week I report from behind the scenes while spending a week in Boston taping The Gist on CatholicTV. I share interviews with my co-host Rachel Balducci, our studio manager Charles Green, and our producer Kate Andrews. We always have a ton of fun putting this show together in one wild week, and I am thrilled to have a chance to share some of the history and funny moments from its beginnings.

I also share some more inspiring music from The Vigil Project that Andrea Thomas shared with us a few shows back. This time, it’s the beautiful song, Praise to You by John Finch.

As always, I am so grateful for your presence here. God bless your week!
